20th Para Sports Festival

Armenian National Paralympic Committee in collaboration with UNHCR Armenia announces a call for applications to participate in the 20th Para Sports Festival in Armenia, which will take place on 23-24 July 2024.

📣We encourage participation of forcibly displaced people who have physical disability. Professional and amateur athletes from all the provinces of Armenia are welcome to apply. The winners will receive various awards!🏆 

In the course of the Festival, the participants will compete in the following seven sports: wheelchair basketball, para table tennis,

para power-lifting, boccia, para swimming, chess and para-athletics.

The Para Sports Festival aims to engage and empower persons with disabilities by promoting their physical activity💪and health, and by making sports activities inclusive for everyone so that no one, including refugees, is left behind.

⏳ Registration deadline is 10 July 2024, 23:59 hrs.

Participants can register by sending the following to these email addresses ℹ️ sportparaton@gmail.com and muradyan@unhcr.org:

🔹First name, last name, date of birth.

🔹Copy of the document certifying your refugee status or copy of 

    your passport.

🔹Copy of the document certifying your physical disability.

🔹List of maximum two sports that you intend to compete in.
