The Los Angeles Marathon had an Armenian participant

The annual city marathon held on March 19, 2023 in the city of Los Angeles, USA, had an Armenian participant this year.  Armenian para-athlete Smbat Karapetyan, taking part in the wheelchair marathon for the first time, overcame the distance of 41.6 kilometers (26 miles) in 2 hours 40 minutes 13 seconds.  Congratulations to Smbat and the coaches Ms. Susanna and Hovhannes.  It should also be noted that Smbat took the 9th position among 18 participants with a wheelchair.
